WELCOME, BIENVENUE, ACEP CANADA
Greetings and welcome to all our Canadian friends. It is indeed a pleasure to welcome and recognize ACEP CANADA as the first autonomous nationwide affiliate of ACEP, the international organization dedicated to the research, education and promotion of energy psychology among health professionals and the public throughout the world. Energy psychology is growing in stature and practice in diverse settings ranging from the treatment of disaster victims’ trauma to everyday stress.
Canadians have been in the forefront of the energy psychology movement and ACEP’S development since its inception and so it comes as no surprise that you are taking the lead in organizing energy psychology practices nationally. It was the strong independent action of Claude Prefontaine and his EP colleagues that served as my inspiration for creating ACEP’s Energy Psychology for Everyone program to introduce and educate the public. Knowing this, I am confident that the strong leadership of ACEP Canada’s first Board of Directors will develop a vibrant and important positive influence for the health and wellbeing of all.

Welcome to the ACEP Canada website. No matter where you live in the 3 million 855 thousand and 101 square miles of Canada, know this, that as an energy psychology practitioner, ACEP Canada is there for you. That is our mandate and our commitment.
When you become a member of ACEP International you become a member of ACEP Canada. ACEP International will rebate $25.00 of your membership fee to ACEP Canada in support of ACEP Canada’s growth and development.
Affiliating with ACEP International is a deliberate choice. Affiliating means building on the structures established by the founders of ACEP, structures that have been solidified in countless ways over ACEP’s thirteen year history. In our global village, intentionally joining with kindred spirits is no longer a luxury. People of good will around the world recognize that working together is our only hope of saving the planet.
How can we promote energy psychology over such a vast area with its disparate needs and resources? The answers will emerge as we take these first tentative steps. One thing is clear: to serve you well we need your help. We need to hear from you. What is happening in the field of Energy Psychology in your area? What successes have you had? Will you tell us what you need? We intend that our website be a source of new ideas, new questions and above, all, that it be a source of support and encouragement. Please join us in this exciting venture. Together we will get the job done.
